The 2024 miscanthus planting season came to an end at the end of July.
This year, planting took place between the drops. We planted between April and mid-July, with weather conditions that were complicated, but ultimately favorable to miscanthus: there was no shortage of water and the plants were already looking good.
Thanks to our responsive and flexible team, and our fleet of 24 planters, we have been able to plant and work with a hundred farmers, planting 900 ha in France, Germany and the Netherlands.
We are now in the process of touring the plots again to advise the Agris on good weed management.
Whenever possible or necessary, we encourage the use of mechanical tools, such as the harrow, to manage competition.
Well done to the team!
