Novabiom is a company with a mission.
Our raison d'être:
To create quality, ecological miscanthus solutions anchored in the territories, with the farmers.
With miscanthus as a diversification crop, we are committed to contributing to a new model of regenerative agriculture, to pass on a better land to future generations.
We contribute to an agriculture that is a solution for the environment, restoring life to the soil, storing carbon, preserving water quality and promoting biodiversity.
Novabiom, the driving force behind this sector, which it initiated in 2006, supports farmers in the successful establishment, production and valorization of their miscanthus crops.
Novabiom and its partners are involved in a local dynamic. Farmers are recreating links through the use of miscanthus in short circuits, in the service of a circular economy, and are thus becoming players in their region.
Novabiom, with the miscanthus sector, is a player in the bioeconomy. We cultivate a spirit of innovation, participate in the development of new bio-based products and deploy activities of primary processing of miscanthus.
Novabiom puts quality at the heart of its actions as well as its human relations.
Social commitment
Our social commitments are reflected in
- Develop short-distance activities, with a maximum distance between producers and consumers of around 40 km.
- Involve local players, particularly farmers, and help them to reclaim their outlets.
- Promote activities that create links between town and country.
- Take into account the impact on people's quality of life.
Environmental commitment
Our environmental commitments don't stop there:
- Develop crops with a proven non-invasive character.
- Promote protection methods for organic farming.
- In conventional farming, experiment with and promote maximum input limitation.
- Contribute to the restoration of water quality.
- Contribute to land-use planning and biodiversity.

Economic commitment
Finally, our economic commitments are revealed by :
- Contractualization to secure farmers' incomes and consumers' supply plans.
- Contribute to the development of the rural and local economic fabric.
- Optimize logistics to give priority to farm income and the production of more economical energy.
