Miscanthus and Nitrogen Fertilization: New Findings

INRAe has updated “Agronomy Terms” for miscanthus, adding new information on nitrogen fertilization.

The INRAe “miscanthus” team, led by Maryse Brancourt-Hulmel, had written an initial article on miscanthus in 2022 (“Miscanthus: The Rise of a New Crop in France”) in *Les mots de l’agronomie*.

Agronomy Termsis a “collective work on the vocabulary and concepts used in French-speaking agronomy.”

Miscanthus, which has been cultivated in France since the early 2000s (and by Novabiom for the past 20 years), is being studied at the INRAe research station in Estrées-Mons, within the BioEcoAgro joint research unit (UMR). Following extensive research on nitrogen use by miscanthus, Maryse Brancourt-Hulmel and Marion Zapater have just published a new article: “An Update on Nitrogen Fertilization of Miscanthus.”

We highly recommend reading it, as it accurately summarizes the research findings.
