Towards miscanthus heating solutions

Novabiom and Saelen Energie/Heizomat France propose a coordinated solution for the development of miscanthus boilers.

October 2022
Faced with the urgent need to find alternative heating solutions to fossil fuels, both climatically and geopolitically, and in response to the significant demand from their customers in this area, SAELEN Energie and NOVABIOM have entered into a partnership to offer their customers miscanthus-based heating solutions.
NOVABIOM has been developing the cultivation and use of miscanthus in France since 2007.
particularly productive and ecological plant.
SAELEN Energie is the exclusive integrator in France of HEIZOMAT multi-fuel boilers, particularly adapted and developed for the combustion of agro-fuels.
The two companies are complementary and both are committed to offering reliable, resilient, sustainable solutions that are rooted in the local area. They combine their skills to accelerate the development of miscanthus heating solutions for their customers farmers, individuals, companies or local authorities.
These miscanthus heating solutions have been successfully implemented for over 15 years in France.
(see https://www.NOVABIOM.com/rencontres-et-temoignages/ or https://www.saelen-energie.fr/lebois-energie/combustible-biomasse-miscanthus/).
By working with NOVABIOM and SAELEN Energie, our clients will benefit from
- a personalized support to establish miscanthus plots near the boiler room, with an optimal integration in the territory (environmental services issues for the protection of water and the fight against erosion...), and a
quality of the installation,
- a biomass boiler technology designed for miscanthus combustion (clinker management, corrosion prevention, life span), regional technicians and national coverage, with a design office and after-sales service,
- Facilitation of project set-up, highlighting of experience feedback and contacts with the various parties involved (engineering offices, heating engineers, financiers, etc.).
For Manoël Couprie:
Managing Director of NOVABIOM: "This partnership with SAELEN Energie, a benchmark player in miscanthus-fired heating systems for over 15 years, will enable us to increase the number of short-circuit heating system projects and meet our customers' demand for sustainable, resilient heating solutions. In this way, we will become increasingly involved in the agricultural and energy transition.
For Nicolas Willerval:
President of SAELEN Energie: "Miscanthus is certainly the most local biomass energy with the shortest renewal time, but also the most stable and reliable. In the current context of energy shortage, miscanthus is a concrete, economic and ecological response to this shortage, fitting perfectly into the circular economy. We are delighted to be working with NOVABIOM to offer our customers complete miscanthus energy solutions.
